CERT (UK) Collaboration Statement

Working in Harmony with the Third Sector to Support Veterans

Our Collaborative Approach

With a vast number of third sector organisations dedicated to supporting veterans, CERT (UK) is committed to complementing, not duplicating, the valuable work already being done. Our ethos is to work in harmony with these organisations to ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for every individual veteran and their families.

Supporting Veterans Facing Challenges

CERT (UK) has experience supporting veterans through a wide range of challenges. We have assisted those recently released from prison, individuals experiencing PTSD breakdowns, veterans facing homelessness, and those struggling with financial hardship. Our support is tailored to the unique circumstances of each veteran, ensuring their specific needs are met with compassion and understanding.

Community Engagement: The Penrith & Eden Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club

One of our proudest contributions is our role as the local charity supporting the Penrith & Eden Armed Forces Veterans Breakfast Club. We provide the funding for breakfasts at their regular meet-ups, helping to create a welcoming environment where veterans can come together. These breakfasts are an important tool in combating loneliness and fostering a sense of camaraderie. They offer a safe space for veterans to share their experiences, open up to others who truly understand their past, and enjoy the banter that is so vital to their wellbeing.

The Importance of Collaboration

We acknowledge that no single organisation has all the expertise required to address the complex needs of veterans. That is why collaboration with other charities and organisations is central to our approach. By sharing knowledge, resources, and expertise, we can offer our clients the most comprehensive support possible. Working together is, without doubt, the way forward for achieving the best outcomes for veterans and their families.
